HostCore IP Addresses
Every outbound connection HostCore makes on your behalf, such as provisioning modules calling your control panels, registrar APIs and SMTP servers, comes from one of the addresses below. If any of those services restrict API access by IP, add ALL the following addresses to the allow list.
| Region | IPv4 address |
|---|---|
| United States | 40.160.39.140 |
| Australia | 51.161.153.126 |
| Germany | Proxies through US currently |
Allow both addresses
HostCore picks whichever address is fastest and healthiest at the moment of each call, and switches automatically if one becomes unavailable. A service that only allows one of them will see intermittent failures, so always allow both.
IPv4 only
Outbound connections are made over IPv4 only. You do not need to allow any IPv6 addresses.
Outbound only
These addresses only make outgoing connections. Nothing listens on them, so there is nothing to allow inbound from your side. Your storefront, your client area and any webhooks sent to HostCore are served through a separate network and do not use these addresses.
If a module sends mail through your own SMTP server, use port 465 (implicit TLS) or 587 (STARTTLS). Outbound connections on port 25 are blocked.
Machine-readable lists
To keep firewall rules up to date automatically, fetch the current list from:

Changes
If these addresses change, we will notify account owners in advance and update this page and both lists before the new address is used.
